With its 360° hinge design, the HP 15.6″ ENVY x360 15 Multi-Touch 2-in-1 Notebook allows it be used in stand, tablet, notebook, or tent mode. Working with a 3.0 GHz AMD A9-9420 processor and 8GB of 2400MHz DDR4 RAM, this notebook runs multiple programs simultaneously without experiencing slowdowns. For portability, it measures 0.9″ thin and weighs 6.41 pounds. There’s also a 256GB PCIe NVMe M.2 solid-state drive that provides fast storage for your videos, photos, documents, and other files.

The 15.6″ WLED-backlit IPS screen displays colors accurately and features viewing angles of 178° and a Full HD 1920 x 1080 screen resolution, which is driven by the integrated AMD Radeon R5 graphics. The ENVY x360 can expand the onscreen workspace to your external monitor or TV through its HDMI port or DisplayPort 1.2 via USB Type-C. The display also offers edge-to-edge touch support so you’ll be able to utilize the multi-touch gestures incorporated into Windows 10 Home, allowing you to swipe, tap, and resize apps at your preference.

HP has outfitted the ENVY x360 with one USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports so you can expand its capabilities with external storage drives and printers. While the USB Type-C port supports Power Delivery, the USB Type-A ports support HP Sleep and Charge. There is also a multi-format SD media card reader for transferring digital content from your devices without using a cable. Accessing the internet can be accomplished utilizing 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 technology allows additional compatible wireless peripherals, such as keyboards, headsets, and mice, to be paired with this system. Other notable features included with the HP ENVY x360 are a 720p IR webcam with an 88° field of view and IR support for Windows Hello, a dual-array digital microphone, and two Bang & Olufsen speakers so you can engage in face-to-face conversations and create videos.

The HP ENVY x360 features a 3-cell / 55.8Wh lithium-ion prismatic battery that can last up to 10.5 hours on a single charge and can be recharged up to 50% in around 45 minutes. Also included is a 65W AC adapter and a power cord.

HP ENVY x360

You can also output video to an external display via the HDMI port, or take advantage of DisplayPort 1.2 via USB Type-C.
AMD Ryzen 5 2500U Quad-Core Performance
Tap into powerful notebook performance, as Ryzen architecture delivers battery life for multi-threaded processing and integrated Vega graphics for intensive multimedia tasks.
360° Hinge
A 360° hinge allows the HP ENVY x360 to be used in four versatile modes. Use stand mode to watch movies and video conference; tablet mode to surf the web and read; notebook mode to work; and tent mode to give presentations and share photos.
802.11ac Wi-Fi & Bluetooth 4.2
The HP ENVY x360 can connect to a home or public wireless network via 802.11ac Wi-Fi. Additional compatible peripherals, such as keyboards, mice, headsets, and more may be connected using Bluetooth 4.2 technology.
USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C and USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A Connectivity
This system has a total of three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, divided up as one USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports. They can be used to connect additional storage, optical drives, printers, memory card readers, and more.

Windows 10

Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8’s Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Cortana
Microsoft’s digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it’s not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.
Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.
